Dana Elaine Owens better known by her stage name Queen Latifah, is an American performer and actress. Queen Latifah is an American actor, rapper and singer. Queen Latifah was born in and was raised in Newark New Jersey the daughter of Rita an educator who worked at Irvington High School and Lancelot Owens Jr. as a police officer.
